What is on-site catering?

On- site catering is the difference between most catering companies and Diamond Sweetness. On- site catering allows a chef and their team to bring fresh ingredients to the location and prepare them on-site, timed just right so the food is served and enjoyed at its best. Majority of the events Diamond Sweetness cater are done by way of catering on-site. On-site catering provides entertainment, variety, and tasty food. Can you do an outdoor event?

Yes! Our mobile versatility allows us to take any setting or venue and transform it into your private eatery. Featuring personally selected cocktails and a menu you created. Your guest will experience Royalty when you choose Diamond Sweetness Catering.


Can you choose the amount of courses you want?

Yes! We customize all menus. You can choose from a 3-course (Appetizer, Main course, dessert), 4-course (Soup or Salad, Appetizer, Main course, Dessert), and 5-course meal (Soup, Appetizer, Salad, Main course, Dessert). We begin with your vision to create a bespoke cuisine for your event. 


How do I pay for my order?

Customers will receive an invoice for the order. You are welcome to pay by cash or credit card (we accept all major credit cards), but we do not accept personal checks. Payment is due 7 days before the event date. If we do not receive full payment 7 days before the event time, or are unable to process your credit card for payment, your order will not be fulfilled. Diamond Sweetness makes payment easy and convenient. 


How far are you willing to travel?

We are based in Canton, MI and service the state of Michigan. We travel across the U.S.A & Canada to sever our clients. Two week booking notice for clients outside of the state of Michigan and payment due at booking (minimum order of $5,000). Diamond Sweetness is proud to serve our loyal clients wherever they are.


What is your cancellation policy?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your order. Orders that are canceled less than 7 full days before the scheduled event date will be charged 100% of the total invoice. This charge is to cover foods that cannot be used, labor, rental goods, and jobs we may have declined in order to accommodate your event.


How much notice do I need for a catering order?

Special events typically book 1-2 months in advance. Corporate events usually have a shorter lead time. If we're available, we can provide corporate lunches with a 24 hour notice. We suggest reserving your date as soon as it is confirmed. Summer weekends and all dates in December fill very quickly. 


What is the best way to contact you with questions or to place an order?

The best way to reach us is via email to place an order. For quick, questions give us a call. We are available by phone Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. If we miss your call, please leave a voice mail and will get back to you. 

When placing an order by email, please include the date and time of the event. The headcount and menu choices. Also, the location and address of the event. Include special instruction if needed (vegan, gluten-free, etc…).  As soon as we can, we will acknowledge your order request, email you with any questions, and ultimately send you a formal order confirmation. (Important: If you do not receive an emailed confirmation of your order from us, your order has not been placed.) 

We are happy to help you in any way with your order - from quantities to platter selections; this can be accomplished via an e-mail or phone exchange. Diamond Sweetness specializes in making sure everything is correct so you can have the best event ever!


What is your “drop off” service?

We bring a buffet to you, set it up, we leave utensils, napkins, and plates. You may dispose of serving items after your event. There are no servers. A delivery fee is charged. This option works best for informal corporate events and informal parties of less than 30 people. Great options from Diamond Sweetness for “Drop-offs” are boxed lunches and appetizer platters. 


Do you set-up and clean-up?

We will dress and set the tables, clear the tables, and clean, the service/kitchen area, leaving it as we have found it for on-site catering events. “Drop-off” catering we will set-up the food in the area you have designated. We do not stay or come back to the event to clean up after drop-off services. “Drop-off” services come with eco- friendly disposables to help make cleaning up easy and safe for the environment. Diamond sweetness cares about you, and the earth. 


Can I make my own menu or make changes in your menu?

Yes! You may create a special menu for your guest or simply request your favorite dishes alongside some of you favorite menu options form Diamond Sweetness Catering. 


Can you provide, for special dietary need?

Yes! We are believers that a balanced diet leads to a balanced life. Our culinary professionals are classically trained to make meals according to dietary needs. Special menus are upon request. Just let us know when placing your order and we are more than happy to accommodate you. We make eating healthy more convenient and more personal than you can imagine! (Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc…)


What is an action station?

Action stations pull guest into the dining experience by creating and engaging guest in the interactive experience as they watch chefs prepare tasty food right in front of them. Our Chefs serve your meal right out the pan or off the grill, ensuring food will be hot, fresh and delicious. Our action stations are known for their innovation, entertainment, and made-to-order menus. 


What is a Holistic Chef? 

A Holistic Chef is a culinary expert that cooks meal with the whole body in mind.


Do you offer Private Chef Services?

Yes! Our private chef services create delicious meals for your event. Our service includes: initial client consultation, menu planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation, meal serving, and clean up. Leaving you to enjoy your party and your guest.  


When can I use a Private Chef?

Ideal for important occasions like bridal showers, birthdays and anniversaries. It’s also a great way to add a twist to date night or lunch with friends. Massage


How do I prepare for my mobile massage session? What will the therapist bring?

Ensure you have the space for a therapist to set up the massage table and be able to work around it (about 6’ to 7’ in length and 4’ in width). Your therapist will bring all the supplies needed, including massage oil and/or lotion, sheets, towels, candles (upon request), and music. Once your therapist has prepared the table for you, he or she will allow you the privacy to disrobe to your comfort level and position yourself on the table underneath the top sheet and blanket. Our therapists use professional draping techniques, so your privacy will be respected at all times. Once the massage is completed, he or she will allow you the privacy to get re-dressed. He or she will ask to use a sink so they can wash their hands. Once you are modest the therapist will pack up their belongings and leave you to relax! 


What do I do during a massage session?

The great part about massage is you have absolutely nothing to do. Relax!


Will the massage hurt?

This depends on the type of massage and the depth of the strokes. Our relaxation therapy provides a light, relaxing massage that doesn't probe very deep into the muscles, and shouldn’t hurt. Our pain management therapy is slightly different. With that being said, there is a 'feels good' hurt and an 'ouch, stop it' hurt. A good massage, even a really deep tissue massage, should always stay in the 'feels good' hurt range.

Pain can be an indication that the muscle is possibly injured or inflamed and pressure should be adjusted. Also, pain can cause you to tighten up and negate the relaxing effects of the massage. The most effective and deepest massage always works with your body's natural response, not against it. Passiflora Spa Specialize in gauging the proper pressure for each individual person. How will I feel after my massage treatment?

Most people feel very relaxed after their session. Some experience a significant decrease from long-term aches and pains. Many notice an increase in energy, heightened awareness and increased productivity which can last for days.
If you received a deep massage, you may be slightly sore the next two days - much like a good workout at the gym. Ease this soreness by taking a hot shower, or a soak in the tub with Passiflora Spa “Soreness Reliever” bath salt. Recommended soak time 30 minutes.
After your session you should also increase your water intake a bit. Just a glass or two more than normal is usually fine. This helps keep your body's tissues hydrated and healthy. Passiflora Spa will have you feeling brand new after your session. Book your massage today!


How often should I get a massage?

Massage frequency varies according to your physical and emotional needs; your stress levels; and your budget. Some general guidelines: 

  • Wellness and relaxation- Once or twice a month

  • Optimizing Athletic performance- Once or twice a week

  • Pain management/ chronic pain- Once a week or until you feel better

  • Injury/ surgery recovery- Two to three times a week until improvement

You may not need massage as often as you think. You and the therapist can decide what is best for your needs after the first initial session. Book a massage today!   


When should I not get a massage?

You should not book a massage if you have a fever, cold/flu, or a contagious skin infection. There are a few conditions in which your therapist may need to adapt his/her techniques (i.e. arthritis or osteoporosis) or avoid an area completely (i.e. cuts or burns). With some conditions, it is a good idea to get an approval from your physician before you receive a massage (cancer, certain heart conditions, pregnancy). This doesn't mean you can't get a massage. But it’s always better to err on the side of caution.

Is your “one hour” massage really just 50 minutes?

Absolutely not! One hour means one hour, you will receive 60 min on the table. 


Can I Book online?

It’s easy to book online! Go to the Spa menu that’s our online booking page. Simply enter your address and select which massage you would like, and make payment a massage therapist will see you at your scheduled time. Book anytime!


Is gratuity included in the price?

Many clients are unsure if and/or how much they should tip their massage therapist. Passiflora Spa includes gratuity in the price so you don’t have to worry about tipping. Simply enjoy your service. After all massage shouldn’t be stressful. Book a massage today!


Can I re-book with the same therapist?

Yes, absolutely! After your first massage with a massage therapist using Passiflora Spa, you can request to re-book with that same therapist by selecting them when you book online. You can also call us and let us know who you request. At Passiflora Spa we want you to enjoy your session and we understand working with the same therapist can enhance your results because he or she knows what you need.


I’m having trouble booking massages back to back. What do I do?

When the app prompts you to the “Add-on” section add a 1hr massage in addition to the appointment you have scheduled. Being a mobile service, we allot 50-70 minutes after a massage to allow travel time and any unexpected delays so we can get to our next appointment location on time. If you are still having trouble give us a call and we will assist you.


Is there benefits to getting massage at home?

Of course! Your home is normally just as chaotic as work can be. This in-home massage allows you to turn that chaos into peace for 60min, 90min or 120min. In-home massages saves driving time going to and from the spa. No one likes driving after a relaxing massage. Since you don’t have to drive home your relaxation is pro-longed you can have a night cap and go straight to bed. Experiencing relaxation at home will make your home less chaotic. What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation must be within 24 hours, otherwise, its 100% charged for the service.
