The touring production of Meredith Willson's Miracle on 34th Street – The Musical is a new, family-friendly holiday show adapted from the classic film to bring the heartwarming story of believing in Santa Claus to audiences across North America. The tour was launched for the 2025-2026 season to introduce the show, which features beloved songs by the creator of The Music Man, to new cities and fans.
Story: The musical is based on the classic 1947 film of the same name, which follows a young girl, Susan, and her mother, Doris, who encounter a department store Santa who may be the real Kris Kringle.
Creator: The musical was written by Meredith Willson, who is also famous for composing The Music Man.
Purpose of the tour: This is the production's first North American tour, intended to bring the popular and joyous holiday musical to a wider audience during the 2025-2026 holiday season.
